Hi I have a 3 monitor set up and was wondering if there was any way to move the File browser out side of the photoshop window on to another monitor.

Surely this is possible?

It is a new feature of CS limiting you to the main window.

WHY DO YOU TORMENT US!

Of course if you expand Photoshop across all monitors and then the file browser will go to another monitor as it will still be in the main window.

Yep that’s a good work around for the time being. Really should have thought of that.

They might sort something out if they release an update for it. Would be so so so much better seems odd why they didn’t in the first place sure they must have there reasons.

AH well… Thanks Daniel

I think they limited it to the first window because they’re all hyped up over color managed thumbnails, and it would have been impossible to achive that on monitor 2. The fact that many (most?) of us don’t care about color managed thumbnails doesn’t enter the equasion.

I’m for giving us a choice, even if it’s for letting us dock the browser again so that it can exist on another monitor while being docked to the option bar. It takes up too much dern real estate on monitor 1!
