not having much luck with actions and batch automating – can anyone help in converting hundreds of .psd’s and .bmp’s at different sizes and resolutions to same size (all in same directory), 72dpi, jpg’s without doing it manually?

cheers

Setup an action where you do the following:

1) Flatten the image (in case there are layers in the PSDs)
2) Fit image to the size you want
3) Save as JPEG – do not rename the file when doing this

Use batch actions to process your folder(s) of images

Also,

If you are interested in a batch convert/rename application for BMPs and other file formats you may want to try Visere (one of the programs that I developed) from

www.dmmd.net

Best,
Darian

ps: and if you have any feedback please sent it to darian_at_dmmd_dot_net
