Has anyone experienced your keyboarding system messed up while working in Photoshop CS or Illustrator CS?
All of sudden when I was typing the file name, the letters appear that I did not even touch…. Is this a defect?

Is this a defect?

nope. it’s on your end. check loose cables, batteries in wireless keyboards, drivers, etc.

I’m experiencing a similar (possibly related) problem: my letters gets reordered when I type them. I have repeatedly been trying to type "Kirkegård" (meaning cemetery in Norwegian) but keep getting "Kiråkegrd" or "Kirkåegrd" all the time. I’ve tested several times, so it is not my ‘keyboard-dyslexia’. I’m working with a rather large file (>100Mb), and all text handling seem to be so SLOOOW!

It seems to me that non-ASCII characters (such as ‘å’) bypass a letter queue and gets inserted directly while the other letters wait in the queue. It’s like TCP/IP. Packages are sent acrooss the internet, but reaches the destination in different order. But, with AICS, the letters (corresponding packages) aren’t reassembled in the right order when arriving ATE from the event ‘queue’.

Try typing what you want in Word or Wordpad then just copy it accross into photoshop using Ctrl+C (copy) and Ctrl+V (paste). Then it should come out in the right order, or type slower so that the queue has a chance to empty itself.
