photoshop enlarging printable page in segments

How does one print out an enlarged image in several segmented pages that then can be fitted back together to produce the poster-sized image?

There is no automatic facility in PS to do this. Your only option is "by hand". You might like to search the forum for "tiling" or somesuch. Also Google of course. There are several programs about that can do this kind of thing.
