lost cooltype.dll after upgrade

I installed the photoshop 7 upgrade but during the upgrade process it gave me some type of error message about the cooltype.dll file not being overwritten or something like that. Now photoshop won’t start at all – says it can’t find cooltype.dll.

Shall I reinstall everything from 5.5 on or just 7 or can I get the file separately? Help soonest!

Uninstall from C/Panel>Add/Remove programs. Delete the whole of the Photoshop folder tree and then re-install. You do not need to put a previous version on your machine. The 7.x installer will ask you to insert a previous version CD for verification.
