Photo Merge Question

First "Flatten" your merged image (Menu: Layers>Flatten Image), and choose "Save as" (Alt+Ctrl+S) and select ‘Jpg’.

hi bill….Yeah.. other programs wont recognize a psd file….and many browswers still dont like png.

What programs are you trying to View the jpg in? if you are trying to open them say using a MS offiice program…you just simply "open" a jpg. You would have to go to "insert/picture/from file" and import your jpg that way.

Tell us how you are trying to open your jpgs.

agreed hectate….but if you are dealing with a global audience…it is something to consider. i LOVE png…but have had problems with people not being able to see them in other countries and with people who are just too lazy to update their stuff.
