I have had this bug happening quite frequently even after deleting my preference files (Accordingly per suggestion of the FAQ) which is a PAIN since I have to then go in and reset the preferences each and every time!

Obviously this is a software problem so when is a fixed (if there is one in the works) going to be available?

Our company has spent a great deal of money for this software(s) which we EXPECT to work consistently however I am reaching the point to where I am close to recommending a different vendor software since this problem is causing a great deal of lost productivity!

Thank you for listening and any information on any upcoming fixes.

save a good copy of the prefs in a safe place. then just copy that over.

IIRC it wasn’t the prefs file though, it was the custom page size file?

also this is a user to user forum where other users try to help you with your problems. if you have something specific to direct to adobe, you should use the "contact us" link on the top of any page.

Michael – can you give us exact steps to reproduce the problem?

We haven’t seen this, and if we can’t reproduce the problem, we can’t fix it.

We haven’t seen this

I think scott b. was in on something like this chris. He got some pref files from users. I think it was the New Doc Sizes.psp

I THINK I’m not mistaken here. Sorry if I am.

Don’t worry Dave, you’re right! I had this error and by a process of elimination found it seemed to be the doc sizes file. I e-mailed the suspect file to Scott on the 23rd Jan.

So has there been a fix yet? I know dave has told me to "direct" my queries towards Adobe however I am deaf and cannot hear on the phone. And I cannot find any link for email and all support is via paid or phone. Not very accessible if you ask me.

I don’t have to do anything with PhotoShop at all. It seems to just happen randomly. All I have to do is shut down the PC and the next day I boot up and start PhotoShop, I get this error. Drives me nuts!

Any suggestions or fixes anyone knows would be greatly appreciated.
