I am the editor of my high school yearbook and I am making Senior Ads in Photoshop 6.0. I can not figure out how to wrap my text around a picture I cut out. I tried everything I know. If you have an answer or suggestion please respond asap. Thanks!

Click on the text tool, then draw a box around the area first, then start typing.

It didn’t work. I have a cut out picture on one layer and want to wrap the text around the kids arm in the picture. Any other suggestions?

You’ll have to do it manually. Photoshop isn’t a pagelayout application and it’s text tool, while very good, isn’t up to that task.

You can do this in Illustrator, if you have it.

A better application for a yearbook is Pagemaker or InDesign.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I am just making the Ads in Photoshop, then using a plug in with PageMaker to put in the layout. I will just have to do it manually or not do it at all. Thanks again for all that replied.

Why don’t you just so it in Pagemaker? Place the ad, then ad the text and use word wrap in Pagemaker.
