Option 1:
If you have Illutrator you can make the line tehre and export a gayscale TIFF. Open that TIFF and copy in itno a new channel in your Photoshop file. Now you can make that channel a selection and fill it with whatever colour you like.

Otion 2:
Stroke you path normally, then switch to the eraser. Choose a brush the size of your dash GAP, and make the bruch spacing the size of your dash STROKE. Now stroke the path (again) with the eraser. All this, of course, on a new layer.

Malak, here’s how to do it in Photoshop. Just choose your brush size or make your own brush (say open a new document at 5 pixels wide by 3 pixels high) fill with black, Ctrl A to select all, Edit Define Brush. In the brushes palette, choose your brush from Brushes tip shape, and change its spacing at the bottom right. Click on the word Shape dynamics and under angle jitter, choose direction. Then draw with brush or stroke a path.
