my diffused glow filter isn’t working. when used it shows all the areas gray black metallic. it use to work perfectly til now. there have been no change in use. any ideas.

Your default colours have to be B & W for good reproduction i.e. Default colours. Try this and use the grain to your delight. Lovely!
