Hi All! thanking anyone for a reply.

I want to split an image into 9 equal parts. At the moment I duplicated the image 9 times then crop the parts from each one and save as a seperate file.

I have been dragging the horizontal and vertical lines down to make the 9 boxes, which is not very accurate. Is there a method to input a number to make accurate equally sized boxes rather than drag horizontal & vertical lines down and across the make the boxes

Regards Peter

If you don’t have CS2, then make it easy on yourself and use ImageReady. It comes with Photoshop. It takes three or so clicks. Create guides (two horizontal, two vertical), then Slice on Guides. If you have CS2 you can do it there.

I sliced on guides. 9 all up. How do I save each slice as an individual image.

In ImageReady, you use the Save Optimized As… command. This automatically saves each slice as a separate file.
