I may very well be in the wrong forum but does anyone use this model? And if so, what external flashgun do ya use?

I thought so, but at the same time, many people here use digital cameras obviously, ce n’est pas?

I don’t use this model but I use to sell it,
The use of a particular Flash depends on the needs you have, every model with a standard ISO connection and a central contact may work unless you accept to work in manual mode,
or, a standard speedlite or compatible (TTL in program mode) may be fine.

Exactly as an "analogic" Rebel.

Or maybe , as usual, I do not understand the question.
