If you have the desk space it’s actually a good size..

However, there’s more to it…..!!!!

I have one of these, and it’s barely ok. First, the mouse and stylus are very ordinary designs (no scroll wheel?). They are usable, but could be a lot better. And I have discovered there is a ‘flaky’ area on the tablet, where the mouse/stylus jumps terribly. It’s only a small area, and easy to avoid now I have noticed it, but that’s very poor quality control.

I don’t use it for much – it’s just an adjunct for the occasional PS job where I want that sort of control. If I was buying a tablet for more than very occasional use, I would pass it by. Rapidly.

I LOVE my wacom 9×12!! I’ve used it exclusively for over 2 years and it works perfectly. I’ve given up the mouse forever. It’s a great tool.

Wacom’s are great. This was the first thing I bought for my PC the day I decided to move all my Photoshop work off the Mac.

Are any of your pix online, Roxy?

I switched when PS 5 went PPC only, and left my trusty IIci in the dust. It was a tough decision for me because I was a Mac developer for several years, and really wanted to stay on that platform for graphics.

Now that it’s going back to Intel I guess you could say I got there first 🙂
