cs2 cropping tool missing options

hi all

gearing up on cs2, i’ve noticed that when i want to set opacity of the cropping tool shield, i don’t have a shield option on the option bar. no opacity or on/off button, though the help shows it. how do i find it?

You have to pull out a Crop box first before you get those Options. Could that be it?

Bill,

Make your Crop "selection," and you will see the "Shield" choices in the Option bar. They do not appear, until you have dragged the Crop Tool. Too bad that Help doesn’t state that.
