Anyone knowing if this is a documented problem or why it happens will be my new best friend.
hehe….I am having a problem selecting text with the text tool. Basically i am making a text object…copying it using the drag and drop method onto the ‘new layer’ button in the layers palatte…making the original layer invisble with the ‘eye’ and then back to the text tool make textual changes to the new copy. Sometimes tho it is the invisible layer underneath that get selected and it drives me batty. Also of note is that these text objects are in folders (i am really copying a folder with the text object inside).
I’m a member of NAPP and sent my question to the help desk and was told that it is impossible for photoshop to do that and that I shouldn’t use the opacity slider to make an object invisible. Haha…not much help…oh well.
Also, I have noticed this same thing on more than one install of photoshop…and i notice others have had the same problem as indicated in the posts below but have not found a solution.
