Hi,
Does anyone know a way to take a layer (that has a copyright notice for example), and batch insert it into multiple photos simultaneously without having to open each photo individually?

Thanks,

Dave

make the layer in one file, then Select All and Copy. Make your action a recording of Pasting the layer into another file and flattening (if that’s what you want). Now run your batch whilr the clipboard still ahs that layer.

Try it on copies first.

I hope this works for you.

If you use Scott’s method, it will only copy the text, not any layer styles, if present. You’d need to Copy Merged.

Personally, I find it a bit more convenient to create an action that builds the copyright notice "fresh" every time. That way you can run it in batch and can avoid errors or mishaps with what’s in the clipboard.

But Scotts method works too.

There are at least three ways to do anything in photoshop…

Peace,
Tony
