HELP! PS6 freezes during startup on Win2000

As the topic says PS6 freezes during startup. It reaches the "Loading Styles" -part and then it freezes the whole comp. What to do? ImageReady works like a dream but I’d like to use PS too… 🙂

try resetting the prefrences per this faq:
