CS hangs at plug ins while loading

My newly installed CS – with exactly the same plug-ins as 7.0 – stops loading at the plug in stage for 105 seconds before finally opening. Help!

Remove all files EXCEPT for the actual plug-ins from the plug-ins directory/folder and its sub-directories/sub-folders.

CS follows an M$ spec now when reading/scanning the plug-ins folder. That means it scans every file instead of just the plug-ins (as PS did in earlier versions).

Trouble is there are no files here except the actual pshop filters and my own third party ones which are FX edges, mystical lighting,dreamsuite and Lucis art. Perhaps I will contact them to see if they have a fix otherwise may just have to wait 2 minutes every time I open Photoshop!
