Hi people,

I have an image (which I’m hoping to use as a personal logo) but it’s a bitmap file, and I need it converting into a vector format, so that I can print at larger sizes without loss of quality etc.

Essentially all that is required is drawing around the logo, (its single colour) and cleaning up. Would you guys be able to recommend any companies or anyone who might do this? Let me know of costs too please! UK individual preferred.

Thanks,

Here’s one:
http://www.artistmike.com/VectorizationService/1.html

But you could also try it yourself with Adobe Streamline, and I believe with Flash. And probably many more.

He’s US and , of course, that’s only appropriate if he wants his logo bevelled to death.

A lot can be done with Illustrator, if you can simplify the bitmap before to vectorise.
Drawing by hand requires some patience, but usually gives best results…

u have many choices.
u can use Flash or Illustrator, any vector drawing program to do this yourself. Also, all these apps. feature some kind of vector conversion from bitmap artwork which you can then ‘clean-up’ as necessary. there are even dedicated apps. for vector conversion such as Adobe Streamline
