New Computer – Want to install PS CS and activate

I jsut built a new computer which will have the horsepower for CS and 16bit Raw conversions. I want to install CS on the new computer and make sure all works before removing from old computer and retiring it to the town dump. What is the suggested method to install on a new computer and reactivate photoshop CS.

If you’ve only activated it once on your old computer, just go ahead and install it and activate it. You’ll get two activations before there’s even an issue.

Yes I have only activated once so I’ll load on to this new machine and make sure all is well before deactivating the old machine. Just didn’t want to get into the activation problems so many seem to be reporting.

You can’t deactivate. If you need to add anther later on down the road, you may or may not need to call Adobe. For obvious reasons there was no detail on when you need to call to activate released only that the average user should never have to.

That of course hasn’t worked out for everyone.
