I just downloaded some new plugins from this web sight. I am unable to get the plugins to work in photo shop 7.0 or CS.

Previously I have just opened them up in the plugin file. Is there another way.

how about giving us a couple more hints tim. what plugins? do they have installers? what did you do with them.

if they don’t have their own installers (setup.exe) you generally just copy all the 8bf files to the plugins folder, or better yet, to a secondary plugin folder that you point to in your prefrences (so as not to mix them in with ps’s native plugins.)

OK, let me start by saying thanks for the quick reply. I do feel that I am making an error in insalling these plugins, I’m just not sure what.

I downloaded them form the exchange, they were free downloads. The names are SL-TexturedPatternsI&II, SL-stainedG2, Sl-TiledII, Woven_basketsm, SL-Tiled, Stained Glass1b, and many more. Any way I am sure it is a simple mistake on my part.

They are actuall PAT Files, I assume they go in the Plugins folders. I might be wrong. Some are ATN files. never installed those before.

I hope that I can get some insight on how to make these work either in adobe 7.0 or 8.0

Thanks Tim.
