I have some rather long and involved actions. Is there any way to print them or save as a text file?

Press Ctrl+Alt and choose Save Actions from the Actions palette menu to save all actions to a text file. This is very useful for reviewing or printing the contents of an action.

Note: The text file cannot be reloaded into Photoshop.

Works fine. Thanks very much. I couldn’t find it documented anywhere. Rgds, MM

A couple additional tidbits for the benefit of others in the future: * As unintuitive as it seems be sure to select (highlight) any action set (folder) in the Actions Palette. Makes no difference which one. Note: Action Set, not individual action. If you highlight an action, Save Actions… is grayed out.
* When you execute the subsequent Ctrl + Alt + Save Actions… command PS saves the entire contents of the Actions Palette to the text file. There’s no way to pick/choose what to save. It’s the full meal deal.

Good points Danny. Actually saving actions out as a text file is quite useful for forensics, but I haven’t found a great use for it personally.
