FWIW,

Recently picked up a couple interesting books that has some good Photoshop tutorials in them.

"3D Game Textures: Create Professional Game Art Using Photoshop", by Luke Ahearn published Focal Press

and

"The Dark Side of Game Texturing", by David Franson published Thomson / Premier Press
[note: there is a physical problem that you might run into with this book – it’s presented in landscape format and the glue holding the spline together has a tendency to pull apart (least on the copy I bought)]

Both of these are mainly aimed at the people who make games or do 3D CGI artwork and or animations.

So, nothing to do with PhotoShop then.

I don’t know, it appears, at least from the title of the first, that it is the creation of 3-D textures using Photoshop. Do not know about the second, but considering the title of the first, I assume that the OP stuck it in there because PS is used in it, as well – just a guess.

I guess not if you don’t count all the tutorials for PS.
