So the best books I have found are "Adobe Photoshop CS2 Classroom in a Book" (More of a tutorial) & Real World Adobe Photoshop CS2 (More of an in depth reference).

Here are some Amazon.com links:

Adobe Photoshop CS2 Classroom in a Book

Real World Adobe Photoshop CS2

I find the tutorials by Ron Bigelow to be very helpful. Here is a link.

Good luck,
Ron ( not Ron Bigelow) By way of disclosure I do not even know the guy, I just like his tutorials.

thanx for sharing this with us, Ron.
This guy’s tutorials is detailed,
so this is appreciated.

For example, the tutorial(s) on curves,
is really what I was looking for.
Usually, I just go for a ‘S’ kind of curve
with highlites where it’s wanted, but this
makes it more understandable.

Hi Dave,
I also got a lot out of curves. Since I shoot in raw I also got a lot out of the raw articles too.
I just worked through the tutorial called ‘Contrast’. I found it very helpful. Not only did it help solidify my understanding ‘Layer masks’ and ‘Channels’ but I now want to go back and take a new look at my old photos with a new eye.
I have to learn Photoshop through tutorials so if you find any more good ones please post them.

Brgds,
Ron
