What exactly do you use Photoshop for? Graphic Design? Photo Editing? There’s a plethora of books on many different aspects of Photoshop.

The User Guide is always handy to have on hand as it explains what-tools-do-what. The Bible series is good for general reference – but like I said – depending on what area you want to focus on will direct you toward different books.

Could anyone help with the best books for photoshop novice?
I want to be able to do something, pick up the book and it tell me immediately (like text to path for instance).
