Use marquee tool (or your fav selection tool) to highlight the pupil. Open your channels palette, and select the green channel. Ctrl + C (PC) to copy green. Select the red channel and Ctrl + V to paste green channel to red. Select the RGB channel and deselect marquee.

To help you to get rid of redeye Go here
http://www.directsoftwareconnection.com to get Red Eye Remover V1.1 and lots more.
Red Eye Remover V1.1 Red Eye Remover is a program that can remove a common "red-eye" effect from your images in an almost automatic mode. Using the advanced science-intensive technology, Red Eye Remover program is able to detect a red pupil from the rectangular area, which you specify. The pupil is instantly corrected. According to recent market research, Red Eye Remover is the most advanced redeye-correction tool available on the market today.

If you need a plugin for something as simple as removing red eye, you’d be better off using something else than Photoshop in the first place.

And if you need a illegal website to download your software, you’d be better off paying for software you can afford.

Samman,

It was a big help. Thank you.

Maybe I should open each post to this group (it is not necessary in other groups) with a disclaimer, such as:

"NOTICE. My eyesight is severely limited. That leads to shorter posts than you may be used to, and to reading manuals less thoroughly than some of you think I should. Please be patient with me. Thank you."

Fair enough. But that clearly means you do NOT want to use a separate plugin, you want to learn to do it with Photoshop’s own tools.

I use this technique with a couple of variations. One is that I switch to Quick Mask and quickly paint the red with a soft edged brush. That seems both faster to me and doesn’t leave hard edges.

I also like to copy from both the green AND blue channels. It’s a bit blacker for my tastes.
