How can I make text follow the line of a path?

I don’t really know but I have a path to learn and the path revolves around the next bit of blue text (well, usually it’s blue) that you will see here in a moment

Use the Pen tool…make the path you wish..then take the text tool and place it near or on the line you created with the pen tool..it will follow it for as long as you made the line.

if you have illustrator….i find you have MUCH more flexibility to do your text to path THERE…and then paste it into PS. You still have some flexiblity in PS…but you have much more in illustrator.

Simply pasting artwork from Illy into Pshop is a waste of time as the graphic is rasterised and u lose editibility. Better to save as a PSD, then open in Pshop.
What exactly does Illustrator do that Photoshop can’t? As far as I understood, both programs use the same type engine and there should, therefore, be little if no difference between them?…

Yes I have checked the help files to no avail, also, if you lot can’t figure it out I have no chance. I’m using version 7 by the way….
