You’d lose that bet.

I guess you are completely new to computer graphics and maybe even computers, possibly don’t know what a search engine is? Although (generally) asking a question in a newsgroup is just as valid as any other method of research – this one has a lot of trolls just waiting to leap on the back of anyone who isn’t an expert and dares to ask (what they consider to be) too simple a question!

You don’t need to be an ‘expert’ to type ‘pixel’ into a search engine. All you really need is a pulse and an IQ above room temperature.

Anyway, we all have to start somewhere – just click on this link and all will be explained regarding pixels:

See, you don’t need to think. You don’t need to learn! Some idiot will come along do it all for you!

You know I’ve got no problem with questions with obscure answers, but for fuck’s sake; "what is a pixel?" Christ, 10 seconds with Google returns Results 1 – 100 of about 678 for "what is a pixel" and the 1st 20 links ALL have good definitions. It’s sheer fucking laziness to ask questions like that.

Learned all kinds of things. Still works….though Google is amazing and will get most of the information available now a days.

Through the course of time, many new questions asked may well be repeats of questions once asked. So what if the question was similar to one that was asked sometime in the past. The news group is not your domain.

You ought to feel complimented when some one asks a question to which you have an answer. If you feel it’s beneath your dignity or tedious to respond to a post, then don’t respond. A questioner does not post a question expecting to be rebuked but does expect to receive a civil answer. Besides, someone else may chose to answer the question thereby leaving you appearing as though you lack civility.

BS. There is such a thing as netiquette, which you have chosen to ignore.

I’ll quote from one of your stupid posts "You don’t understand how newsgroups work. Any response is allowed. Even rude ones."

The application of netiquette does not encourage the use of rude replies. I suggest it is you who should become more familiar with the working processes of newsgroups for it’s obvious you are not familiar with the rule of netiquette. It is apparent you like being rude to others but you dislike being treated in a like-kind rude manner. Tough

All you are left with is rude comments and name calling.

A review of this thread will disclose I was posting in a gentlemanly manner, complying with the rule of netiquette, until you decided to insert uncalled for mockery. Try your idiotic frivolity on me and you will incur a reply obviously not to your liking.

Just as you can write "bs" when you choose to, so can I. Your need for what you think is good "netiquette" is not my need. Your standards are not mine. You have yet to learn that what you think is correct and "good" may not be universal.

There is such a thing as netiquette…

Which you are choosing to ignore.

"Netiquette" is not a law, not a rule, not even a "must do". It is only a suggestion and I don’t care what your fantasies about "netiquette" are. Obviously you don’t care enough about "netiquette" to follow it yourself, so I see no reason to.

It is apparent you like being rude to others but you dislike being treated in a like-kind rude manner. Tough

I enjoy goofy people like you. You are not harming me in the least. You are not treating me in a rude manner because I expect your kind to respond as you are responding. That is what makes the game worth playing.

Your kind thinks they know what is best, and you will be as rude as you can be to prove your point. Which negates your "point" in the process.

Which find totally amusing.

All you are left with is rude comments and name calling.

I was posting in a gentlemanly manner,
complying with the rule of netiquette, until you decided to insert uncalled for mockery.

Which forced you how to throw away your sacred "netiquette" I am sure.

Tell me again how you were forced to do that…

hahahahaha.

Try your idiotic frivolity on me and you will incur a reply obviously not to your liking.

You have yet to write a reply that I have not enjoyed. You are a goofball, you can’t do anything but be a goofy person, and write goofy things.

And what did I tell you… that you would be back for more… and here you are.

hahahahaha.

I have always been here. You are the newbie. Otherwise you would have known about me and not had such a fit about how I choose to write in the newsgroup.

hahahahaha.

Too bad about your lack of knowledge of how newsgroups work and
anything
to do with Photoshop.

BS.

Just as you can write "bs" when you choose to, so can I. Your need for
what
you think is good "netiquette" is not my need. Your standards are not
mine.
You have yet to learn that what you think is correct and "good" may not be universal.

From the manner of your posts and the thought processes you display in your posts, the only conclusion one can reach is that you lack the intelligence to know right from wrong. You, being the moronic idiot that you are, do not deserve to be treatred as an adult.

I gather you are the ng’s resident clown. A much too higher rating at that.

I know enough to hook you right in the eye, 3 days running.

You keep coming back and keep telling me your smallest thoughts, like I am supposed to care about your thoughts.

It is so cute.

You, being the moronic idiot that you are, do not
deserve to be treatred as an adult.

And you are doing this because you are so adult and not moronic or idiotic?

I do enjoy goofy kids like you.

As if you writing your silly messages is going to do anything but show how silly you can be — if you allow yourself to write as you wish.

There really is nothing for you to be concerned about. I write as I wish and so can you. You name call and I write rude messages … no difference.

Tell me again how adult you are.

hahahaha.

I gather you are the ng’s resident clown.

You are my trained doggy.

Now do a nice trick for the audience.

hahahaha.

There is no need for "productive" messages. Each person decides how they will use the newsgroup, and I choose to use it to find — and then play with goofballs like you.

Trolling is a sport, and you are a good catch.

SO, are you saying that if everyone ignored you, you would just go away??? Highly unlikely. Your addictions won’t let you.

There is no need to "go away"… there will always be another silly person like you that comes along and thinks he knows what is best for the newsgroup and what I should be doing or not doing. Then I get to play with them just like I am playing with you.

Hang loose, be cool and be amazed – these are emotions. Do not let them sidetrack you like a badly designed website

but
for fuck’s sake; "what is a pixel?" Christ, 10 seconds with Google returns Results 1 – 100 of about 678 for "what is a pixel" and the

Through the course of time, many new questions asked may well be

But my answers and my opinions are and if you don’t like them you’re welcome to learn how to use your filters. I stand by my comment that doing a minimum of research before asking a question is a good way

I’ll stand by my comment "so what if the question is similar to one
