Hello everyone,
This is my first posting on here, so apologies if I seem a novice. I have 2 versions of Photoshop – 5.0 Limited Edition and Elements 2.0 and I have the same problem with both. I work on a file in Photoshop and get it exactly as I want it, and then save it as a JPEG file. If I open the file again in Photoshop, everything is fine and exactly as I saved it. But if I open the same JPEG file in another application (such as ACDsee, IrfanView, or if I upload it to a webpage) then the file is much darker and much more colour saturated than it was when I saved it in Photoshop. As you can imagine this is very infuriating as I cannot present the files the way I want to!
Has anyone ever experienced the same problem? And if so, what do I need to do to ensure the same files looks exactly the same when viewed in another application to that which I have saved in Photoshop?
Many thanks,
Steve.
