I would be interested in any tricks anyone has come up with for turning B&W prints into sepia tone prints. My Epson printer drivers offer it as an option, but I am not entirely happy with the results. TYIA. Mike Acord

An easy way= on the menu bar- image/adjustments/hue-saturation, click the colorize box in the bottom right hand corner and adjust the sliders accordingly to suit.
Another way is, go to
http://thepluginsite.com/products/photowiz/photofreebies/ go to the download section and download the colorwasher, focalblade and photofreebies. It’s what I use and works awesome.

Another way is, on the menu bar- window/actions, and slide down to sepia toning.

A lot of options, eh?
Good Luck.

If it’s a colour picture desaturate it first (might seem obvious)

Then use CURVES and in the Channel dialouge box at the top select RED (if you want sepia tones) then push the diagonal very slightly upwards untill you achieve the desired result.

1. Change it to B&W by this method:

(Well, I like the control this method gives and it’s easy too.

2. Convert to Grayscale

3. Convert to Duotone. Pick any color you like for the 2nd ‘ink’. Something like Pantone 149C seems to work well for me.
