Hello,
Just stopped by to mention that Photoshop Elements 5 is actually shipping now. It’s left the pre-order stage, and Adobe have actually released the product.
For an objective review of the improvements (minus the Adobe sales-speak), and to see video tour, take a look at my review here:

Your review at best was weak at worst worthless. It comes across as someone that reviewed a product without ever seeing it. A pathetic coverage of new features. Even going so far as to say and I quote " The editor upgrades are those that seem to be most ‘under wraps’. Either that or there just aren’t many! It’s very difficult to say how the editor has changed, but from the information released it looks like a lot of work has been put into automating processes. The ‘Quick Fix’ features of Elements 3 and 4 have been improved on again, to make photo adjustments the easiest they have ever been. This is repeatedly demonstrated on the official site by the section for turning color pictures into ‘vibrant black and white images’, but presumably the same kind of changes have been implemented across the editor."

If that isn’t a worthless bunch of nothing… Did even bother to look at the software or the press material? I sure doesn’t look like.

It was my time to waste. It wasn’t as if you highjacked my browser and made me look. I chose to click. In the future if you wish to review stuff try to at least cover what’s new and enhanced, that is for the most part what people are most interested in. The Adobe web sites Press Center generally has feature lists that will provide you with all you need. Any one can access them.
