I have been using Fujicolor SUPERIA ISO 200. It’s a great film. I also use VueScan to scan the negatives.
Version 8.0.14 of VueScan does provide settings for FUJI film within the color tab but the choices are unclear to me for the "Negative brand". The choices are: NHG, GPS, Super G, Super HG, and Super HR. I find nothing that I recognize as SUPERIA 200. Which one should I use?

I also have Monaco EZcolor and an IT8 color slide. I suppose I could make an icc profile but the only IT8 slide I have been able to find is for Kodak Ektachrome. I don’t think I can use this to calibrate my Nikon LS-2000 film scanner, when I’m using Fujicolor, can I?!?

This color matching stuff is not for the faint of heart.

Thank you for any direction you can give me.

That is the only one around (unless somebody has gone to lots and lots of trouble). I use the profile for E6 with Velvia and Provia 100F. Jim

Jim,
Are you saying that, "It’s better than nothing to use an Ektachrome IT8 color slide to calibrate a scanner, even if the intention is to use that scanner to scan negative film of another brand." ? I’m just an enthusiastic amateur – – maybe that would be good enough, considering that I always play with the colors a bit prior to printing. Would that be better then using the built-in selectable film types that VueScan provides?

Sorry, I misread your message. No, you should not use a profile that was generated for E6 film when you are scanning negative film. Neither Kodak nor Fuji have a target for the color negative films.
I generally use the built in film type that come with VueScan. Someone on this list has made copies of the E6 target with various color negative film, but I have never obtained one of them.
