I regularly get people arriving on my website wanting to know what the outside of a vagina looks like. (It’s a long story, don’t ask) Of course I know what they want to see, they must be really new to websearching that’s all I can say. Now I like to be a smartarse and whenever possible give people what they are asking for, even if it isn’t exactly what they expect to find. The way I understand it the vagina is a hole, therefore the outside of a vagina looks like, well, the universe.

I’d be really grateful (but not to the point of paying, you understand) if anybody could point me in the direction of an image that could illustrate this theme, one you control the copyright for. The only payment I can offer is a link or two from a website currently attracting around 4,000 visitors per day (more than 60,000 hits per day). If the image is on your website then I’m easy about mirroring it or linking to it, or doing it as a reduced size image with a protective watermark, whichever option you prefer. It could be a way of you getting your work seen by a new audience. OK, they’re one-handed surfers, but they have internet connections, and they might be willing to buy your stuff too. And a link’s a link.

I’m not looking for pornography or even erotica, just an image that illustrates the idea that the outside of a hole is the rest of the universe.

You have the art (I hope) I have the customers/appreciative public (you hope). It might work and you’ve nothing to lose except your artistic credibility. 😉

Don’t send anything to the newsgroup posting address, go to the website for a valid email address, just follow the obvious links.

Check out some of the web sites for medical schools or get a copy of Gray’s Anatomy.

There’s more but as to doing a search seeking a way to contact you … ain’t going to happen.

This request is aimed at those people who want to help, those people who don’t want to help please just ignore the thread.

I know what the outside of a vagina looks like, well, I’m very familiar with my wife’s, and I’ve seen plenty of others in photographic form. What I am looking for is an interesting image that expresses the concept that because the vagina (as opposed to the vulva) is effectively a (potential) hole the outside of it looks like the rest of the universe.

As for emailing me it is three clicks: the link at the bottom of this post, then the link marked email, then the one that looks like my email address. That’s hardly a search.

I am not going to publish my email address directly in a newsgroup, I like email, it provides me with contact with the outside world. When I publish an email address in a newsgroup I get spam, by the bucketload, I deleted 166 emails from this account last week, 90% virus filled spam, 10% regular spam, 0% wanted messages. I do not use this account for wanted messages. I have given you the instructions how to contact me, if that is too much like hard work then it’s no skin off my nose either.

I can make any rules I like even if I am asking for people to do me a favour for no reward. If you want to ignore my request please do. I am asking for a favour, I am not going to grovel no matter if you do think that is the natural order of things, bwana.

So you see a "threat" in the idea that someone will post more messages in a newsgroup? You very silly.

Newsgroups are not harmed in the least by messages. Even hundreds of messages don’t harm a newsgroup. There is no danger from messages in a newsgroup.

I know how Usenet works.

You are free to say what you want, I am free to say what I want.

I want a picture, I can offer links and publicity as payment, nothing else. If you want to send me a picture you will have to follow the link in my signature to my website and find my email address on there, it isn’t hidden, it is just presented in a form that provides some protection against spam. If any of that is too much trouble I respectfully suggest you ignore my suggestion and carry on with your life because I can’t be bothered with the reasons why somebody isn’t going to help, I don’t need everybody to help and I see no good reason why I should be polite to those people who have taken the time to tell me they are not going to help.

There is no need to ignore your request. People are free to comment on your request, pro or con… not a damn thing you can do about it now. You chose to make it a public matter.

Of course people are free to comment on what I post. My point is that just because I’m asking for a favour I shouldn’t have to kiss the arse of anybody who suggests they might consider the possibility of doing something. If "Not Me" doesn’t want to do what I suggest he considers doing then he can just ignore my request as I will ignore his suggestion of publishing my email address across three newsgroups to save him the bother of clicking three links. If he thinks that wanting something for nothing = begging and beggars should be meek and grateful not to get kicked he can think again. Frankly I wouldn’t want a picture sent in by somebody who can’t be bothered to look at the site that might use it.

Think of me like a hitch-hiker. If you’re going my way I’d like a lift, if you are going another way or don’t want to stop please just drive past, if you slow down to shout why you’re not going to stop don’t expect a particularly polite reply.

How cute.

Of course people are free to comment on what I post.

Thus your request to "ignore your request" is not even valid in your own mind.

How silly of you to request that people ignore your request when you know that they will not.

hahahaha.

My point is that
just because I’m asking for a favour I shouldn’t have to kiss the arse…

What you imagine you should not have to do is irrelevant. If the price is that you must kiss someone’s ass, then you must pay the price if you want the service done for you.

Easy to figure out.

If "Not Me" doesn’t want to do what I suggest he considers doing then he can just ignore my request as I will ignore his suggestion of publishing my email address across three newsgroups to save him the bother of clicking three links.

But you did not ignore it, you commented upon it. You are very silly. You tell people to "ignore" something, all the while you can’t ignore something else and proceed to comment on it. What is allowed for you, is allowed for everyone else.

You’re goofy.

If he thinks that wanting
something for nothing = begging and beggars should be meek and grateful not to get kicked he can think again.

hahahahaha.

It is the price you pay for begging. No respect for you, goofy.

Frankly I wouldn’t want

Too bad what you can’t be "bothered" with. You are a beggar. Suck it up, goofy.

Think of me like a hitch-hiker.

I think of you as Goofy.

or don’t want to stop please just
drive past…

Or people can choose to throw trash on you as they drive past.

hahahaha.

if you slow down to shout why you’re not going to stop
don’t expect a particularly polite reply.

If you are a beggar you get what you get. Nothing more. You are not in a position to get anything else.

Have I suggested otherwise? If you want to send in an image that is the way to do it, if visiting the website in question is too much trouble then you are almost certainly not the right person to help because you have no motivation to help. You are just wasting your and my time.

on the question "What is a Troll’ subheaded as
‘What do they do’ the answer is given as:

4.13 Bullying

The Trolls often demand the right to post anything and everything to
a
newsgroup. If anyone or any group opposes them they threaten to continue, for longer.

A heading labelled 4.13, just like chapter and verse, so very impressive.

What is this supposed to mean? I am not bullying anybody. I have asked for a favour and somebody who shows no evidence of having what I want or understanding what I’m asking for asks me to post my email address in a newsgroup. With me so far? I decline and assert my right to ask for whatever I want and apply any reasonable conditions I see fit. Not to post whatever I want.

Where exactly has "the threat" to keep posting come from? If the people on these groups didn’t want to help all they had to do was not comply with my request, but no, they took the time to fire off a couple of terse sentences to explain why they wouldn’t help while giving not the slightest hint that they could help or understand what helping would entail or display any motive to help.

You have probably spotted by now that, as a former employer of mine once put it, I don’t suffer fools gladly. He said that as if it was a bad thing. I don’t expect anybody to help me for no reason, I expect some people to help me because they respect what I am doing, if you don’t know what I’m doing then it isn’t even going to begin to happen. If visiting my website is too much trouble then it isn’t going to happen at all.

I say what I mean, I mean what I say and I sign my own name
