I’ve tried many ways but couln’t find how to do this:
I want to use a image in Black and white as a mask I’ve seen some supposed masks to Photoshop done this way to use as Edges or silluettes (i’ts not what I want to do is but very similar).
Now How can I load it as a mask? I’ve tried copy paste after creating a layer mask, I’ve tried copy/paste in quick mask mode…And I did change Image modo to Greyscale. The only way I found was to transform the image in a pattern and fill whith it in Quick mask mode.
I think it should have another method…Could you tell me another way?

You can paste it into a mask. To do this, though, you must make sure that on your screen, you are looking at the MASK, not the LAYER.

To look at a mask on your screen, hold down the ALT key on your keyboard (Mac: OPTION key), and click on the picture of the mask in the Layers palette. Then paste.
