Multiple layer selection/modification

Is there a way to select layers by color? I need to make style changes to some of a hundred layers. I made an action to modify the layers that need updates with a color but that only helps with manual sorting using the mouse and control key. Any tips for working with large numbers of clipping masks would be very welcome.

No not clipping masks – I should have said vector masks with clipping paths – sorry.
