I have an image on my site that I want straightening. I thought this could be done with the crop tool by hovering over the corner and then dragging round to perfection. But using the crop tool I dont see the curved arrow. Is there another way? Image is the first pic on this page

Sorry, can’t do that in one step.

BTW, if you have something in the picture that is known to be straight, use the Measure tool to draw a straight line along that edge that should be either vertical or horizontal. Then Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary. You will see that Photoshop has used the angle of your Measure tool. Click OK to finish the rotate and you have a straight picture.

That cell phone picture has lots of nice horizontal measuring lines. I think I’d use the bottom of the screen. The tops or bottoms of the 3 larger buttons in the middle would work just fine too.

If you don’t have those vertical or horizontal guides in the picture you can still manually rotate the canvas. However, I find it easier to use Transform.

Then you crop.

Nad, to avoid going crazy like me, know in advance that the measure tool is hiding under the eye-dropper tool.

Melv, in later vers of PS, there is a checkbox in Crop Tool Options panel ( location will depend on where you might have docked it, but look to the top of the screen), that says Perspective. Check the box, and you should be able to rotate, and move handles at will.
