Hello Everyone,

Can someone tell me how to put a different color outline around each character of a word?

I am using Arial Black and want to outline each letter in a different color. I have tried a variety of things but can’t seem to get this one right.

In alt.graphics.photoshop, BobK ordered an army of hamsters to type:

I take it the text is in a text layer. Select the layer transparency (I’d do this by right clicking the layer preview and selecting ‘select transparency’). and it will select all the text.

Use a marquee tool and holding a key (alt) deselect all but one of the letters. then make an empty layer and stroke (edit>stroke) the selection with the selected colour. Do this for each letter and it should result in the effect you want.
