Hi,

I am looking for good software that is easy to use for making compositions. In the past I used Microsoft Picture It. I liked this piece of software very much but it was very unstable. I am looking for a good alternative. I find Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop way to difficult to use.

Does anyone know any good candidates?

Regards,
Jay

Unless it comes with some stupid activation I recommend the newly released Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0

what do you mean by ‘unstable?’ I use it for collages and it works fine for me.

Unstable means what it says: not stable: crashes all the time. That was version 6.0. The later versions are supposed to be more stable I have heard.

I use version 6.0 with XP Home. make collages from six to eight 5MP jpeg photos at a time. never had a problem. maybe it is something else in your system.

I tried it with Windows Me, that may have been the problem. Anyway I am using XP Professional now. The issue is that Picture It came with MS Works with my Dell PC and there is no option that allows me to only install Picture It and none of the other garbage…
