Simple question here. I resize an image to a size smaller than 8×10 then create a new document that is 8×10. I now want to drag my downsized image on to the new canvas and have it "centered".

I have been trying to do it by eye and never get it exactly right.

Hold down the SHIFT key as you drag the image
to the new document.
