Also the bridge will not work – anybody knows what to do, again it seems to be that it cannot utilize my danish XP version.
Any suggestions for where to ask? Adobe’s website doesnt seem to have any technical place to ask. Oh yes "Adobe Help Center" also is not working, but then that is probably the same problem again…
And I just checked the box, and it doesnt say that the system has to be of any specific language. Perhaps I just need to change some setting, but where… or is there some other trick to solving this.
Thanks for listening, and any hints will be greatly appreciated…
Btw the update only works when I use a special short-cut, activating the update directly instead of through the program… but still better than doewnloading manually and installing.

There was no problem with the online registration, but we did try to turn of the firewall.
I dont think update is turned off, the same happens when update is chosen from the menu.
Hardware should not be a problem.
can you download the upgrade/patch and manually install it?? In 7.0 that was a problem
I found the bug. My XP is in danish and the CS2 is in english, so the update points to wrong folders. Weird that it can install itself into the danish program folders but then not find them again. All other parts of the program seems to be working. So if you ask me the programmers made a slip and forgot to program the update function properly. If starting the update program from the proper folder manually it works fine. So I dont have to download and install manually.
Just very weird, luckily another dane knew what to do.
Thanks to all for replying.
and we think Adobe ignores PC users 😉
and now the Danes
wonder if this happens in all non-English versions?
