move transparent layers

Hi, I’m trying photoshop CS, and I can’t move semi transparent layers because when I try to move It select other layer not transparent.

Alex,

Please give us a few more details. By "move," do you mean to change the location of the selected Layer within the original document? If so, what you would need to do is make that Layer active in the Layer Palette, by clicking on it (it will then be highlighted in the Palette). Choose the Move tool, the little cross with arrowheads and either click-drag in the image window, or after selecting the tool, use your cursor arrow keys, or shift-cursor arrow key for larger movement. Whether there is transparency in that Layer should not be an issue, as you are moving the entire Layer.

Is this what you wished to do? If not, let us know, and we’ll look into your question from a different point of view.

In the Options for the Move tool remove the check from Automatically Select Layer

Alex,
If your transparency is set to below 50%, you won’t be able to drag it, assuming you have your Auto Select Layer box checked. To move the layer, you will need to either deselect the Auto Select Layer box, temporarily raise your opacity to above 50%, or "fool" PS into thinking you’re trying to "transform" the layer (CTRL+T) and then move the layer. The last option assumes the layer in question is not linked to any others.
