hi,

I have a series of painted images Im using for cartoon backgrounds and I need the images to use the same color palette .
By color matching, I mean I have an object (a building) which has been colored differently in each picture..and I need to make the color of the building the same in each picture

I have tried the replace color tool…but I cant match a color from one image to another with the replace color tool…

I dont have pshop cs so I cant match, and I dont think that tool would work here anyway…because its not a background/foreground matching issue…

Try a Hue/Saturation or a Selective Color Adjustment Layer and place color samplers in the respective areas you want to monitor. You should be able to get a virtually exact match.
