I installed Autocad LT 2002 on a PC with Win982e and video resolution 800×600, it happens that by opening the window "Layer properties" and other windows, only 2 of the top right window controls are displayed (- and x) and the central window control is lacking and I can’t see the bottom line with the controls "ok" and "cancel" and I can’t resize the window in order to see them and so I can’t work… In the contrary I can well work on a PC with WinXP and video resolution 1024×768
someone can help?

That’s funny because I just tried the same thing and it worked for me. The only difference was that I used Photoshop not Autocad and instead of using Windows 98 I used Windows XP. It is strange that our methods only differ by three letters yet the outcome was so different. Just kidding – It may be time to scrap the 98.

Good luck,
Ron

….and that is not a good setup for Autocad. Wy are you working at 800×600? Increase your resolution to 1024×768 or better.

ok but are you saying that at least 1024×768 resolution is MANDATORY for Autocad LT? I didn’t know

Yes, I seem to remember something like that a few years ago. (I used to write drivers for Autodesk products)

The problem is that it is hard to create dialogs, usually of fixed pixel size, which are readable at high res and which still fit on a (relatively) low res screen.
