Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE Registration

I just recently received Adobe Photoshop 5.0 LE from my Mom. She has never used it. The question I have is when I register it on my Windows machine can I also register it on my Mac machine or do I have to go buy another Photoshop product?

No. Software for the Windows machine will not work on the Mac machine.

I believe some of the PhotoShop LE editons supplied with scanners and whatnot have both Windows and Macintosh versions on it, like Elements does?

If so, I apologize for the bad information.

As to the original question, you cannot register one software package on two machines that are being used by different people. Nor can you upgrade from the package, and allow the other person to use the older version while you use the new one.
