In Deke’s PS Bible, he states that the browser cache is maintained in a system folder on the local drive. If you have the images on a network, simply export the cache and it places it in that folder. And he stops there. Does PC #2 when loading PS first look for a cache on the network folder or does it look at its local drive? If it looks locally, what good is the cache export? If it looks at the image folder, does it mean that all PC’s will looks at that cache when loading the browser in CS?

PC #2 looks in the folder it’s looking at – that is why you have to export the cache for that folder. Yes, everyone looking in that folder will see the exported cache first.
