Wow Doormouse.. You really are one of the most unhelpful, sarcastic and useless posters I’ve ever run across. How pathetic is your life that you feel the need to spend so much time on this NG spreading such nonsense? At least offer up some help along with your nastiness…

As to the original question – putting a dot after the jpg extension causes the computer to think that anything after it IS the extension. Since it doesn’t recognize .1 as a legitiate extension – no preview…

What a complete fool that you are. What moral lesson are you trying to teach me with your criticism? You have no "use" for me – as if I were here for your utility. Such idiocy is beneath contempt. "Oh, Dave spoke harshly to me, I must change my ways". Oh yeah, that’s going to work.

You do not know how poorly you come across when you determine how another person is to behave for your benefit. It’s a form of social retardation.

At least offer up some help along with your nastiness…

The original poster should not be around electrical devices, because drool can short out a keyboard. That’s helpful. I have no respect at all for the original poster – NONE. How clear can I make that statement? As for you, who cares about you, either? WHY should I care? A good and moral person could tell me why, but we have already seen what you haven’t got to offer.

Isn’t it funny? You can act retarded all that you want, and I can tell you.

Tell us how you really feel Mouse! Yikes!!
Actually, that original poster was surely goofing around or trolling. How can anyone run a computer and get around the net, and especially use photoshop without knowing where the period lies in a filename!?

You’ve obviously never run across David Allenberg … who often ‘hangs out’ in some of the

Well, gosh – no – I don’t expect you to change your ways – it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to tell maluadjusted ill-natured misfits that they are maladjusted ill-natured misfits . And don’t for a minute think that you are the first to accuse me of "social retardation"… 😉

Nope, Daves right, you’re a jackass.

He relies on a crude under-achievers sophistry with a tendency to be grandiose/verbose.
