I have had a Dual iv for about three weeks and am happy using it apart from :-

1. Unknown Error 1. What earthly use is this message ? In the ancient computer days – 1960s – we used to have a reply word which we could access to determine the fault – what peripheral had caused it !!!

2. The transport sometimes jams.

3. The on/off often doesn’t work and the only answer is to pull the power plug. This causes inteference which could be quite harmful.

I am using Windows 98 SE and rear connecting USB 1 and would any helpful advice,

You are lucky enough anything works on 98SE, switch to a proper OS (Win 2000/ XP or OSX) and see the difference
