Hello,

I have 2 layers, named layer 1 and 2. layer one with a mask layer.I want to copy the layer mask from layer one to a new layer mask in layer 2. Every time i try to select everythinng in the mask layer and paste it into the second mask layer, it just makes a new layer.

Does anyone knows what im talking about??

Select the layer you want to apply the "copied" mask. In this case layer 2. Drag the mask in layer 1 to the Add Mask button at the bottom of the Layers Palette.
