Hi,

I’ve just started dabbling in animated gifs using Adobe ImageReady.

How come the colours in the optimized version rarely match those of the original version? and is there away to change the settings?

I had a bright yellow and bright green colour on a light blue background and the optimised version came out in different shades of blue!

Please help. Your advice is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Now is a great time to become more familiar with the user guide!

Dear Doormouse,

Your are correct (if not a little sarcastic!).

I delved a little further and have sorted my problem. I just had a heavy work load and was hoping for a quick answer.

GIFs are limited to 256 colors, the original is limited to about 16.7 million. There’s no way to match perfectly.
