Have been reading the group for a couple days, some great answers have been posted, will try to remember some for future reference.

I am fairly new to Adobe othet than using filters and minor adjustments for use in another prog, but am now leaning towards using Adobe more.. I curently am running 5.0. I need some help figuring out how to do a batch job, 1950 photos in a single folder that I need to apply some contrast to, and resize/save. I had 3/4 of the job [individually] done and the hard drive burned out for a total loss (being replaced now and will be back in a couple weeks). I have a backup of the original photos I have transferred to this computer, but I really don’t have the time to do all the pictures individually again (digital photos I need adjusted for a database), this is a desktop bound to the desk upstairs where I do not want to chase the baby around, as opposed to the laptop I have been using for the past year and was able to do the photos (did not know batch jobs were a possibility til I started reading here!)..

I need to know how to set up the action commands to run this. I will break up the folder into smaller runs and run each command in seperate passes, to ease the work load on this older W98 machine. Any help would be most appreciated!!

If this is not a possibility, how do I set up a tool box with choice buttons I need specifically for this job, to save time (auto-adjust, save, size, save as)? thanks in advance for any replies!
